I’m Vesta Padilla, LPCC, LADAC, and the owner of One Heart One Mind LLC. I grew up in Albuquerque, and that connection continues to shape my values and the way I show up for the community I serve. At the heart of my work is a commitment to unity, compassion, and caring for one another — values that have long guided my life and practice. My clinical work focuses on co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and I have years of experience supporting people living with addictions, those who are unhoused, and individuals who have experienced incarceration. I’ve worked in both faith‑based and secular settings, allowing me to support clients from diverse backgrounds and belief systems with respect and openness. I offer trauma‑responsive, person‑centered counseling for adults across New Mexico, creating a steady, supportive space where healing can unfold at your pace. When it aligns with a client’s needs, I also integrate EMDR to support deeper trauma processing and healing. My approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and deep respect for every individual’s lived experience.
