I’m Vesta Padilla, LPCC, LADAC, and the owner of One Heart One Mind LLC. I grew up in Albuquerque, and that connection continues to shape my values and the way I show up for the community I serve. My work is grounded in unity, compassion, and caring for one another — values that guide both my life and my practice.

I specialize in co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders, with years of experience supporting people living with addictions, those who are unhoused, and individuals impacted by incarceration. I’ve worked in both faith‑based and secular settings, allowing me to support clients from diverse backgrounds and belief systems with respect and openness.

I provide trauma‑responsive, person‑centered counseling for adults across New Mexico, creating a steady, supportive space where healing can unfold at your pace. When clinically appropriate, I also incorporate EMDR to support deeper trauma processing and integration. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and deep respect for every individual’s lived experience.
